Aussies break into the Kebab business giving the traditionals a run for their money
Ian and Erica Lambden (School teachers) now run the No. 1 Ali Baba store in Queensland at Robina. Ian and Erica say:
“We were not sure if we were suited for a kebab business. Would we be able to handle the work? - The training was comfortable as we were taken through the intensive training
program with ease.
There is no preparation as all the products come in prepared and only 3 accounts to pay.
We received great support from our Area Manager who was in touch on a daily basis.
We have a great life style now that we have settled in and will look at a second store shortly. We are very thankful that we had a go!”
Matt & Crystal a young Aussie couple from the Central Coast of NSW took the opportunity to acquire UTK store and convert in to an Ali Baba in Morayfield QLD. They were familiar with Ali Baba having worked in stores in NSW in the past 6 years. They wanted a sea change. They are delighted with the store, the friendly customers and the fact that they took the plunge in today’s difficult economic circumstances to buy a business backed by a franchisor with 30 years in the business.
